ETFs are baskets of shares that trade on the stock market. They track an underlying index or asset.
As an investor they provide you with an easy and cost effective way to gain access to a selection of shares or assets on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. And they remove the need for individual stock picking.
ETFs also add diversification to your portfolio.
